A 5-a-side football league in Hackney has signed a sponsorship deal with a local property search firm as the new season kicks off.

Super5 is comprised of 48 football teams across five divisions, with international and charity events throughout the year and regularly has 400 women a week attending its sessions. The £1,000 sponsorship by Newham based X-Press Legal Services will support the community football initiative for its upcoming league season next month (October).

X-Press East London owner Habib Maljee comments: “Whilst out shopping locally I saw a car parked up with the Super5 branding on it and spoke to the driver to find out more. When he told me about the great community work they were doing I knew I wanted to support them. I also found out that the person running the initiative was a close family member which was a bonus and we are both delighted with the partnership.”

X-Press Legal Services East London branding will appear on all Super5 media channels and the teams have welcomed visits by the firm to watch the games live and also become involved in the many charitable projects the players get involved in both in the UK and further afield.

Habib continues: “Following a spell as an East London bus and taxi driver, I know my area and community thoroughly. I am also involved with my local mosque in Newham where I undertake a lot of charity and community work. Mixing my entrepreneurial background with an ethos of a family-led business, my family is a big part of X-Press Legal Services in East London and we’re delighted to be supporting Super5.”

X-Press Legal Services has 27 offices around the UK and provides solicitors and conveyancing professionals with a complete range of property searches and reports which are at the heart of a property transaction process, related to local authority, property and environmental issues.
